I had such a memorable stay at Bucaco Sud. The peaceful and relaxing atmosphere was exactly what my partner and I needed for our honeymoon. We were lucky to have the whole house to ourselves, making it even more special. Jean and Beatie were incredible hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed and providing us with delicious breakfasts every morning. The views in the area were simply breathtaking and the drive from the airport was worth it. I highly recommend Bucaco Sud for a truly unforgettable experience.

Amazing balcony view of the mountain. Plenty to do in the area – penguins, botanical gardens, beach, hiking, Gordon's Bay, seafood. Delicious breakfast with fresh fruits, yogurt, breads, meats, and juices. Comfortable room with sea view, clean linens and towels. Friendly host, smooth check-in/out and payment process. a recommended stay for nature lovers.

The view from the room was amazing with a beautiful view of the mountain and the sea. The breakfast was delicious and there were different options to choose from. The location of the hotel was very convenient, close to the main road and easy to find. there was a swimming pool which was a nice bonus.
The bed in the room was too small for two people, it would have been more comfortable with a bigger bed. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was not up to my standards, with a few areas that needed more attention.

The location was great, close to a fantastic restaurant for which the manager had booked in advance a table for us. the views from the communal areas were beautiful, with a lovely patio and view of the ocean. Breakfast was delicious and served with plenty of charm and artistic touch.
The room was quite outdated and lacked some basic amenities such as a working air conditioning unit. the shower was also not very practical, making it difficult to enjoy.

The location was absolutely mind-blowing, with easy access to the Porter Gardens and a reserved table at the jaw-dropping Tides Restaurant. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The breakfast was super delicious, with a wide variety of options, and the friendly hosts made us feel right at home. The sea view during breakfast was simply breathtaking. We also enjoyed the outdoor pool and comfy lounge area. a perfect stay for hiking in the nearby nature reserve, visiting the penguin colony, and enjoying a relaxing getaway. Plus, the free wi-fi, car park, swimming pool, dryer. Highly recommended!

I indulged in the free breakfast, lazed by the outdoor pool, and enjoyed the cozy lounges. Who needs a concierge when I can explore the area's activities all by myself?
Oh, I just loved the grubby and tired carpet. Such a charming touch to my stay.

This hotel offers excellent value for money. For a reasonable price, we were able to book a spacious room on the 1st floor with a beautiful view of the bay. The balcony was the perfect spot to enjoy the scenery and relax after a day of exploring Betty's Bay.

Chilled in the spacious rooms with cool vibes. Breakfast was on point and the hosts were super friendly and gave us a list of rad places to check out. Stoked to be close to epic surf spots and the stunning Stony Point penguins. Defo coming back!
Only bummer was that there could have been more party vibes. A dope common area with some sick music and games would have been off the hook.
